Biography:
Babes Wodumo is a South born entertainer, born in South Africa’s KwaZulu Natal, and her real name is Bongekile Simelane, the female emcee specializes on South African music genre popularly known as gqom.
She was born on July 26th 1994. She is a young South African Kwaito singer, dancer, model, and her popularity began when she dropped her hit track Wololo in 2014.
The female artiste revealed that she got her stage name “Babes Wodumo” means “the famous Babes,” after she was born, she revealed that then, there existed a female group named The Babes and then her eyes looked more like one of the members of the group, and her father always made reference to her eyes and said “Lo uw’Babes’ meaning “this one is Babes.” Then ‘Wodumo’ came up due ot her love for acting, dancing, athletics, soccer, and she was really good at all of them and so she became famous for it.
Relationship:
Bongekile whose stage name is Babes Wodumo is known to be dating Mampintsha, who is her manager. When the news first came out, she was not open to talk about it, but later on, the news and identity of the man she was dating came to limelight, and also news had it that they are engaged.
The duo have been in a relationship though it has not been so smooth, she has once shared an image of herself with her lover Mampintsha in a Zulu traditional wear, and on the picture was an icon of a bell as well as a present. She also has been engaged as a ring could be seen on her wedding finger.
Child / Pregnancy:
Well just last year, there was a rumor that made her fans keep asking, if Babe Wodumo is with a child? At the beginning of 2018, it was said that Babe Wodumo was pregnant and the news was all over the media, but the Gqom artiste came through to debunk the claim, she even shared a Twitter video set the record straight.
